I really enjoy getting people of all ages to learn. My day job is with Easter Seals where I work with all ages and disabilities. With both Easter Seals and tutoring, I found that it requires a wide variety of approaches to get my clients to learn. I have learned a lot of patience and creativity in this time. I have been constantly surprised and pleased when my students and I are able to achieve new heights in life-skills and the classroom. In 2000 I volunteered in the local high school's journalism class because of my passion for writing. The following year I was offered a position as yearbook adviser, and I further developed my skills with high school students. Since 2004 I have been a private tutor, teaching all elementary subjects as well as most middle school and high school curriculum.
