A Little Bit About Me...

I taught high school for one year and middle school for a year and a half. I was certified to teach social studies 6-12, though I have let my certification expire. I have worked with middle school students for the past four years in an administrative and service capacity. I am an ex-Member of the Florida House of Representatives and have informally many students at the middle school level. My degree is is in Business, but my passion is social studies and reading.
Teaching is enjoyable to me, but the bureaucracy of the school systems is not. I believe that there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to helping students learn.
