Students can be visual, auditory or tactile learners, and often many students are a combination of each learning style. I attended several colleges in different cities (where my husband, daughter and I lived at the time). We moved to Amarillo,Tx. in 1994 where I attended Amarillo College to finish my basic hours. I transferred to West Texas A&M University in Canyon,Texas. I graduated in 1998 with a BS in elementary education and a concentration in math- grade levels 1st through 8th.
