I have a B.S. degree in Meteorology from SUNY College at Oneonta which required a great deal of mathematics, especially in calculus. I have taken calculus I, II, III, ordinary differential equations, general physics I & II, general chemistry I & II, and number theory. I tried to help the students to the best of my ability and in a way conducive to learning. At a major university, biology and engineering students, let alone chemist need to take general and organic chemistry. So it is required to tailor how I tutor to what they needed. In some case it was a guide through problems because they knew the basic information and could not correlate from one step to the next.
