A Little Bit About Me...

I feel that all students learn differently and for that my teaching styles vary. I am a visual person so; I that all children can learn when shown examples of what I am trying to teach them. I am very hands-on as a teacher and I want your child to be involved in their learning. Above all, I love children and I feel that all children can learn if just given a chance.
In 2006, I earned my bachelors degree in Elementary Education K- 8th grades. My cognate was concentrated in the Socials Studies areas. I have a great love of history and always traveling to learn more about interesting parts of the country. After graduation, I taught Commercial Science grades 6th thru 8th in a middle school. I began tutoring in high school. I worked at a local day care where I tutored a special needs child. The experience was very rewarding and inspired me to continue tutoring while in college. I went to North Georgia College & State University, were I earned a BA in English, and an MA in Public Administration. As an undergraduate student, I tutored other students in English and Writing through the NGCSU Honors Program. I'm currently in law school at the University of Oklahoma and scheduled to graduate in May 2010. Additionally, I am an officer in the Army National Guard, and have worked as a college recruiter.
