Having graduated from Tambov state university in Tambov, Russia, i worked in a public lyceum and later in a private language center. Having moved to Mexico in 2010, I applied to an internationally acknowledged language school Harmon Hall and was offered a position of ESL teacher, which I accepted. I went from the Boston Public Schools to Commonwealth School and then Wellesley College, and would have been lost, early on, without help from tutors. I majored in English and Russian and work with several communities for whom English is not their first language.
