My teaching style is patient and creative. I seem to find unique ways and examples that the learner can understand to help describe how to solve problems. I believe one on one tutoring is very helpful to all children. Many children are behind in school because they are not getting the attention they need. I love to teach and work with children. That is why I am entering the field of Speech Language Pathology.

After receiving a BS in Education from Illinois State University in 1997, I began teaching all subjects in grades K - 8 in the greater Chicago area over the course of 6 years (Fall 1998 - Spring 2005). After relocating to Delaware in 2005 I began full time substitute teaching in public schools, juvenile detention / rehabilitation facilities and part time tutoring (after school).
