When tutoring, I try to meet the students needs by utilizing methods of teaching which take into consideration the student's learning style. I explain concepts using visual representations as well as numerical/algebraic models. I am a very patient teacher who will find various ways of explaining math concepts, until I find one that works for the student. My comments on tutoring Algebra I : I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Statistics and have experience teaching undergraduates and graduates.

My diverse skills and experience in mathematics, statistics, and computer programming should be advantageous in this circumstance. I began working as a Math Tutor in the Spring of 2012. I tutored three students through Club Z Tutoring, a publicly-funded tutoring organization. I also tutored a student in Pre-Calculus during the same time period. This student was introduced to me through Allison Neal, head of a private tutoring agency.
