My passion is making mathematics accessible. After high school I was underwhelmed by mathematics. However as I took more math in college, I realized how much I had missed in high school. I have a knack for creating analogies and mechanisms to help students remember things for exams, as well as strategies and ways of thinking that may be a little different than what was taught in class (but still gets them to the final result). I really want to help kids succeed in school and be in charge of their learning even after I am no longer their tutor. I like to inspire them to learn.
