While at West Chester University, I had to take Statistics and Probability and that was because I was in the excelled Math program in high school. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and I like to make it a fun and enjoyable experience. I am a patient and easy going person, and I am able to adapt well to an individual's particular style of learning. I was trained well by the Literacy volunteers of America. I believe that my style is to help the student with repetition, while still making learning fun, via conversation and connecting the importance of what is being learned to every day life.
Practiced for years as an attorney for NYS. Semi-retired now. I have also been a tutor with the Literacy Volunteers of America (LVA) in Albany, NY. I met with a Korean graduate student at U. Albany and helped him learn English. I am also able to help in foreign language tutoring with German and French.
