I received my Master's degree in 2011 in Special Education. During this time, I have successfully worked with students who have ADD/ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Autism, and Learning Disabilities. I have taught also taught ESL to both adults and children. I have successfully taught 1st grade students math, reading, science, social studies, phonics, and Bible. My teaching style is flexible. Since I work with children that have special needs (specifically Autsim), I have to be creative in my approach and adapt to the instructional needs of the student. For example, many of my students require direct and explicit instruction; however, some of the students are nonverbal and artistic and require a more constructive approach.
