I attended Rufus King World IB High school in Milwaukee, Wi, one of the most prestigious inner city high schools in the country. I excelled in IB Geography, Chorus, and Theatre. I was one of those kids who never did any homework, but passed my tests. Everyone came to me for help on projects, homework, ect. I feel that I didn't fully utilize my strengths in school as I could have, so I would love to share that with those who need it now. Very relaxed, easy going, friendly. I usually start off teaching the student basic utensil knowledge and slowly branch into oils from acrylic, first with no color so they will learn to see temperature. After we will learn the importance of white and how to not overuse such a strong hue. After this we will work from still-lives and also self-portraiture. I have been painting for 6+ years and am very willing to share my knowledge of the tricky medium to anyone willing to learn it. Oils are my forte however I've worked in most other mediums a time or two. My current work is fully abstract but I have plenty of images of works that show my technical expertise.
