I have taught English and Reading for over 30 years. I have currently employed as a GED Instructor for WWISCAA organization. I have taught middle school and secondary English and reading. I am also certified in curriculum and instruction and a virtual online facilitator. I graduated from college in 1979, but i have continued my education and have gotten 2 master's degrees. i am currently working on my PHD in curriculum and instruction. I have also done tutoring at my church and in my community and love helping people. I have tutored in language arts, reading, math, and social studies. My immediate goals include assisting students in areas of reading and literacy. I would like to instill in others the love of reading that have and frequently enjoy. I have tutored and given reading assessments for the past three years. I am a certified Reading Specialist and consider it a great achievement to help someone gain success in my field of interest. As an Honor graduate with a bachelors of arts in sociology, I have an extensive knowledge of various subjects. Some of the major areas of my degree that i am very familiar with includes: history, social science, american government, and spanish.
