My teaching style varies depending on the students I am teaching. It consists of lecture notes, handouts, exams and quizes and games such as Jeopardy. I believe that all students have the ability to learn and grow as individuals. It is my job as the teacher to make learning both enjoyable and educational. My main goal in education is to make a difference in the lives of the students I teach.
I have been involved with education for roughly the past five years, spending 2 as a substitute teacher, 2.5 as a Middle and High School Social Studies teacher and 0.5 as an Adult Education Instructor. As a graduate and instructor at Marshall University, I have gained an understanding in both law and teaching. In addition I have taught in public schools in grades Kg. thru 12th grade. I have taught in the Paralegal program at Marshall University.I have also taught Reading, Math, Science, Spelling, Writing, Social Studies and English on a Kg. thru 12th grade level in public school.
