Having always been driven to achieve academic success, I received all A's throughout middle school and high school and was one of my high school valedvictorians. I then received full tuition to the University of Evansville and continued my academic success. My major required my to put in hours before and after the athletic teams practices and I have learned great time management skills as well as study skills. My teaching style is to find out what a student is good at and build on that success to improve areas of concern. I use humor and a laid back style with organization and skills to increase probability of success in academic areas. I believe every student is different and learning styles are unique. I keep coming at a problem in different ways until we find a method that works. I listen to the student and approach difficulties as challenges giving the student courage and confidence.
