As a Business Administration major, I have had extensive schooling in all realms of business, accounting, and finance. In my earlier years, I had extensive exposure to math of all levels, as well. Additionally, I am very strong in English, even having edited a book and written the foreword for it. As a tutor at Eastern University I came to the realization that not all students learned in the same way. I have a different teaching style as compared to the teachers putting things into real life examples, or even making things hands on so my students understand better. The students knew that I wanted them to succeed and would stop whatever I was doing to help them do homework, study, etc. I can relate to the students while still respecting them and encouraging them to shine to their highest potential
