Graphic Designers are creative problem solvers.

I am all about a hands on learning experience. I have the student take thorough notes about the programs I teach so they can go back and learn on their own. Graphic design is all about problem solving so I challenge my students to figure out the solution in a creative way where they will retain the information.
I have been a Graphic Designer since 2008 specializing in Print Media. I have an expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop. I work full time as a Graphic Designer and Part Time as an after school Elementary Art instructor (teaching drawing and cartooning). Art is my passion. Illustrator and visual arts instructor

Hello! I admire all things in the visual arts field and most importantly educating those that are interested or have the desire to enhance their artistic creativity. I am a recent graduate from the VCU arts program, the number one public arts school in the nation. Drawing is one of my top subjects! Drawing has been - and will continue to be - my lifelong passion. I have worked with children with all different kinds of learning styles, so I have learned over the years that you have to be flexible and mindful of the specific child that you are working with. Through my experience I have learned to be more patient, understanding and fair when I am working with the children as well as when I am grading their assignments. A Little Bit About Me...

Beginning my sign language career in high school, I have learned to embrace the beautiful language and culture of the deaf community. At that time, I began to tutor a deaf child with minimal language skills and have been tutoring on and off ever since. During my college years, I was asked to tutor American Sign Language for the University of South Florida's athletic program. Currently, I am an educational sign language interpreter working in a middle school. I have my Bachelors degree in Communication and Science Disorders with a concentration in the Interpreter Training Track as well as a minor in American Sign Language.
