Elementary Reading is one of my top subjects! Have been trained and used the Guided Reading system for over 7 years to teach many reading strategies.
When I first meet my students, I want them to feel comfortable with me and what we will be doing. I try to get to know them as we work together and find out what their interests, hobbies, strengths, weaknesses, and other important factors in their lives. I will work on homework, projects, test preparation, as well as activities and lessons I have used to be successful. I want the student and parent to develop a relationship with me where we can talk openly about the work and progress!
I have been working with Elementary aged children for over 7 years. I have had many different teaching experiences working with grades K-2.
