A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored students both with and without learning disabilities. In my 15 years as a teacher in elementary and high school, and as a tutor, I have covered math through algebra and geometry,biology, geography/history, chemistry and physics. I am capable of tutoring college level courses in math and science, too. I believe each person is capable of learning, and that a report card can be improved by learning 'how to learn'. I was told that this hands-on tutoring would also coincide with an upper level English class, a class in which permission of its instructor, the English department and recommendations from other professors were all required.
