A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelors in English from Dominican University. I began A Plus Master Tutoring Center over 4 years ago and was teaching in my home. Now we have expanded to a center in Oak Park and we tutor all ages, from Pre-K to adults. Our subjects range from phonics to algebra. Our teaching styles vary from a 3:1 ratio, which would include up to three students and one tutor, or a 1:1 ratio which would be a private session with a student and a tutor. My comments on tutoring Reading : I focus a great deal on reading and reading comprehension for my English Language Learners. Reading as well as comprehension are essential to succeeding in school and in life.

I begin each lesson with an introduction to the topic, then follow up with student centered activities.
