I am currently the Sixth Grade History Teacher at Williamsburg Collegiate Charter School. My responsibilities at WCCS include developing rigorous objectives for the Sixth Grade History curriculum. Moreover, I serve as a Special Education Guided Reading Instructor for eight, Sixth grade students. After graduating from high school as valedictorian, I earned a Zoology BS and a Studio Art BA from SUNY Oswego, successfully completing English composition, speech, visual arts, biology, zoology, chemistry, Spanish, and calculus II courses, and graduated with a 3.76 GPA. Prior, I had taken and earned over a 90% in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and AP calculus. A Little Bit About Me...

I love to teach and see the ideas light up the eyes of the person who suddenly got a concept. I think teaching should be adaptable and should fit the learning style of the student. Visual tasks, memory games, and hands-on-learning are, in my opinion, the best way to help someone truly learn (versus rote memory).
