Honor Student hoping to help students achieve success

Hello! My name is Kayla Bear. I am a first-year student at Purdue University; however, I am a sophomore according to my credit hours. I earned college credit in high school to get ahead of the game. I worked as a peer mentor throughout high school, helping students with their homework and helping prepare them for tests such as the SAT. I have taken a number of courses in various subjects, so I feel that I am able to help a wide range of students. I was editor of my high school yearbook last year, so I have a lot of experience training people in writing and grammar. As the daughter of an educator, I not only grew up understanding that every child could learn, but that every child deserved a sincere smile.
