My methods are constructive and encouraging. I start from the beginning, then progress one step at a time, eventually arriving at the finished product. A strong subject foundation will give the student more confidence and better skills to handle the harder classes they will encounter down the road., if they are currently in the harder classes, reviewing the beginning steps before conquering the latter ones would allow the student to make a smooth transition between concepts. My experience at the community college and public school classroom includes a wide range of diverse teaching experiences from high achieving Japanese to Hispanic low performing students seventh graders I have excelled at teaching all levels of ethnically, academically and physically diverse students. The procedure I follow in tutoring is to first attack is to find out where any understanding difficulty lies. Then, I write the rules out.
