I have earned a BS in Chemistry, which has allowed me to gain an understanding in many levels of science, not only how in how to learn but how to adapt those lessons for others. A Little Bit About Me...

I have 2 years experience in tutoring high-school and college-level math and computer science (programming and database design) while studying computer science in college from 1996-1998. During that time I also taught small classes in computer usage (email and internet) at the Kennewick Senior Center. I later earned a bachelor degree in math at Portland State University in 2004, participating in study groups there. My recent work experience was in help desk, drafting, and geographic information systems.
I like to start tutoring students by determining what the student's strengths and weaknesses are and building a strategy from there. I have always had a deep appreciation for knowledge and education. I hold a BS in Marine Science (Oceanography), through which I took many high level science and math courses. I recently completed an MS in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida, where I formulated and conducted my own research project.
