I believe that all children are capable of learning, but many experience barriers that inhibit the learning process. My journey through the undergraduate sciences has given me the skills needed to be an effective tutor. Holding a 3.6 GPA, I was able to work with students in group settings, teaching as well as learning. As a member of the chemistry society, we also offered peer tutoring where I was an active participant. My bachelors degree consists of a minor in chemistry while majoring in exercise science. After graduating college I taught elementary K-8th grade in NYC. I taught for one year and decided to live Paris, France teaching English. I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work. After 6 months I returned to the states and taught at a Junior High School on the Lower eastside of NYC. I left teaching after 10 years to market computers.
