I have been tutoring for over 8 years. I have also started youth tutoring programs since 2007. I have taught algebra, organic chemistry, physics, and other core mathematics and chemistry classes. Although I have taught in group settings, I prefer to tutor no more than three students at a time. I have taught grades from 6th grade all the way up to sophomore college level. I use the preferences, hobbies, likes, and dislikes of the student to relate the information in which they are learning. I use examples from everyday life that helps them understand information that is applicable to everyday life.

I have graduated from North Carolina State University and earned a bachelors degree in Chemistry. I have a earned a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from North Carolina Central University. I am currently tutoring college student at ITT Technical Institute in physics and math. While at North Carolina Central University, I tutored students in chemistry, math and physics. I also work as a substitute teacher with the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school system. I believe that are students are learners. I believe that a tutor must figure out what student have trouble understanding in any subject. I first start by showing all the students all the step involve in solving any math or science problem.
