I received my B.A. in humanities with a minor in Spanish from Buffalo State College in 2009. I studied English, Philosophy and Spanish mostly. I have a lot of experience in writing, critical analysis of literature and basic Spanish. I also hold a TESOL certification from Oxford Seminars. A TESOL certification is an international certification which certifies you to teach English as a second or other language. I have over a year in experience teaching ESL both here in the United States and in South America. A Little Bit About Me...

When working towards my Bachelor's I was able to achieve a dual BS in Accounting and Business Management. After working a few years, I decided to go into teaching. While doing this, I was able to assimilate my real life working experience, into the classroom. I have since obtained a second certification in Special Education. This was after obtaining my Master's in 2007. I believe the combination of these teaching areas, would allow me to help those students, who need different areas of help.

A Little Bit About Me...

I would say that the greatest personal attribute that the Lord has given me when it comes to teaching is patience. I allow the student the time that it takes them in order for them to "get it" without pressuring them. I also like to make the material as simple as possible by teaching in a manner where I like to emphasize understanding as opposed to just being able to do it. And typically I find the best way to offer enlightenment to the student is to take whatever concept it is that I am trying to convey to them and draw an analogy to something basic that they do understand to help bridge the gap to the new concept (the same thing that the Lord Jesus Christ did - John 3:12).
