I have completed three weeks of training in the Project Lead the Way program at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. PLTW has prepare me with the tools I need to execute the STEM curriculum in Middle Schools. I was able to receive training in the areas of Automation and Robotics, Design and Modeling and Medical Detectives. Computer is one of my top subjects!

I am very patient. My mother was a teacher and liked helping children and I believed that her genes have rubbed off on me as well. I like to help others succeed. I believe that an individual does not have a disadvantage, but a advantage when they make up their mind to do something. They can become great.

With my Bachelor's degree, I began tutoring through Reading Success and conducted private tutoring of Georgia History. I progressed to teaching English, Spanish, and some Special Education Resource classes at the High School level, and continued to teach lower level English classes at a local college along with reading in an Adult Continuing Education program through another college. My writing skills have been sharpened as I edited and wrote articles for newsletters, newspaper releases, and in an administrative capacity.
I enjoy teaching and do my best to make learning fun and easy for my pupils. I approach lessons by letting the student realize how and why the lesson is important and how it relates to their lives.
