I began teaching at eighteen. I’d just graduated high school and wasn’t ready for college, so I worked as a personal trainer at a gym within jogging distance of my house. A Little Bit About Me...

I spent several years in Omaha teaching creative writing at the High School and College level, giving classes at Creighton University, the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and Metro Tech.
