I 19 and have an Associate in Science and an Associate in Arts. I have been taking college classes since I was a Jr in High School , and I have been tutoring my friends and younger relatives since the 6th grade. My comments on tutoring Chemistry : 5 years tutoring experience

Different students have different 'keys' to learning. I utilize a flexible approach which seeks to 'unlock' the potential in each individual student.
I have been tutoring for over 10 years in all types of Math, including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus etc. I have also been tutoring in Chemistry and Physics. Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.
Web manager and usability analyst as well as instructor. I have been asked at various jobs to teach training classes to my peers because of my ability to deliver an easy to understand lesson. A Little Bit About Me...

I would be glad to work with students of all ages, but I prefer to work with a student individually rather than work with students in a group. From both my experience of being an informal tutor and being tutored, I find that students general prefer this style of tutoring because the tutor can both focus and better access their student's strengths and weaknesses in the particular academic subject they are having difficulty with.
I have informally tutored people of various age ranges in the subjects, physics and math , for a period that ranges over about three years . I have taught younger relatives as well as helped people informally on online tutoring message boards with math and physics problems.
