Learning is an awesome tool when you have the ability to understand and use it in your surroundings. This is my goal for every student. As a dyslexia therapist I was instructed in a number of different approaches to teaching and how to match each one to an individual student's needs. I try to identify the student's strengths and weaknesses and work out a program to help him or her achieve his or her goals. I also like to involve the parents or guardians as much as possible to keep them updated on the student's progress and how they can contribute to the learning process.
