I worked in 3 different schools, in all of them, the subject was English. I have no experience teaching Portuguese outside of college, but I am planning to find students to change that. My comments on tutoring Reading : I have provided developmental reading instruction in addition to providing 200 plus credit hours of composition at the college level.

Interactive! Students need to apply what they have learned, to reinforce the learning cycle.
My instructional experience includes over 230 credit hours of composition and language arts instruction, including creative writing, literary analysis and Shakespeare. However, most of the instruction has been focused on composition. I developed a bachelor level English course for Pearson Education, working as a writer on a team of three; the course was deployed nationally at over 100 campuses.
