Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! Creative Writing is my extreme passion. I've taken numerous creative writing classes in college and I'm currently working on writing my own fiction novel in my spare time.

For most students, essays are their number one issue. After they have told me their concerns, I like to read over the paper myself and any correct grammar mistakes I find along the way. I also sometimes write in comments in the margin to refer back to. If I have an issue or am confused about a certain session, I stop and ask the student. I also often read the sentence(s) aloud so the student can hear the what is wrong. If he or she still does not see an issue, I explain my concerns and we work together until we are both happy. After I’m done reading, I express any more concerns I have and once again work with the student until we are both happy. I also help with work cited pages. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : Help with organization, content, proofreading, editing. Vocabulary building to keep your writing fresh and interesting.

I believe that grammar and punctuation are critical in written expression. I am very focused on the learning style of the student and will begin with most student making that determination and connection with the student. I also work well with students who are dyslexic, have ADD/ADHD, and who are left-handed. I attempt to build a relationship with the student so that are willing to listen, learn, and work to master their assignment and/or skill. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have alos taught my children to write creatively. I emphasize writing alsmost daily, using vivid descriptive language and including dialogue to make the story plot flow. Writing with passion and about topics that you're passionate about is something I also stress.

I received my training from Cedarville University, Wright State University, Plymouth State College and Keene State College. Although, I have never been in charge of my own class room I consider my teaching style energetic.
