A Little Bit About Me...

In having a bachelors degree in Psychology, I have been fortunate enough to have worked at various places, all in which have dealt with constant interaction with people. I have had a great deal of experience substitute teaching children, to waiting on the elderly at a Sunday brunch. My people skills have grown very strong in being able to interact with so many different types of people. In addition to those experiences I will complete requirements for my masters in Psychology and Counseling, which I intend to use to help people with difficult life situations. Becoming a teacher has been one of my life's passions. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Adolescent Education and Mathematics and am currently working on a Master of Arts degree in Education, Curriculum, Instruction, and Mathematics. Currently, I work for the Saratoga Springs and Ballston Spa school districts as a home instructor for grades 6 to 12. I enjoy working with the kids one on one and feel wonderful about helping them stay up to date with their school work until they are physically able to return to the regular classroom setting. Aside from home instruction, I also work regularly as a substitute for Saratoga County schools, and have built up a great working relationship with all faculty and students in each building that I am assigned.
