I believe it is important to find every child's unique learning style and use that tho help them reach their potential. I am patient and willing to approach a subject from multiple angles to ensure success. My college was a constructivist school and I have included this style into my teaching. I hold a bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Towson University where I interned for two years in both urban and suburban settings. During my college years, I was a biology and history tutor. As a 2006 graduate of the University of Maryland, I have both student teaching and full-time teaching experience at the University and 8th grade level. Currently, I am teaching Latin to 8th grade girls at the Bryn Mawr School - an independent K-12 school. My passion and knowledge opened the opportunity to student teach at the University of Maryland during my graduate studies. I continue to serve as an adjunct instructor to this day.
