My comments on tutoring Reading : Usually read english authors which brings me more experience and dexterity when using the english language.

I´ve been translating many documents English to Portuguese and vice versa. Also have experience on voice over. ADd subtitles to videos. Some transcriptions are part of my experience. I work in several areas. Advertising, EDucation, Multimedia, Sports, Politics... are some of the areas I´ve been working on. I´m a perfeccionist and I like to deliver my work on time. I like to get online with My students and provide with a study dynamics which revolves on some exercises, speaking the language is important in order to be able to dominate it. Learn the basics in a really easy fashion, you can do anything if you put your mind into it. Several tests will be presentend on each stage of lessons.

Reading has always been a passion of mine. My father was a historian and an avid reader and he passed along a love of both reading and history to me. I began homeschooling my daughter two years ago, and am instilling that same love of reading in her. I have found that no matter what you do in life, a strong reader will go far. While I believe that all of the subjects taught in school are important it is my belief that reading is the most important one.
I love teaching! I didn't realize I did until I began homeschooling my daughter but I do. In fact I plan on beginning my masters in Teaching this fall. I enjoy children and working with them. I have a lot of patience and am very laid back. There is no greater joy than seeing a child's face light up when he/she suddenly "gets it." Some learn by seeing it. They have to see it and then maybe write it and learn by visualizing. Some learn by listening. They can listen to a lecture and hang on to every word. As an undergraduate I tutored in the help center of WVSU. My last semester I had to choose between Biology and Chemistry, due to a schedule conflict, and I chose Chemistry. After graduating, I worked toward my PhD at Montana State University for two years. I worked my way through teaching labs, and completed 19 credit hours, before I had to move home for family reasons. I also worked in the help center during the day and held weekly study groups in the evenings.
