My comments on tutoring Government : My college minor was International Affairs. I also interned at the U.S. Congress, both House and Senate, as a college student. My tutoring experience includes AP U.S. Government, but I can also easily assist with AP Comparative Government. I spent three summers teaching international politics to gifted middle school students.

Students being tutored one-on-one deserve lessons customized to their learning style. My sessions often incorporate some writing and topic discussion along with activities tailored to the student's interests, skill development needs and preferences.
This is my fourth year tutoring middle and high school students in History and Government. I also have professional classroom teaching experience and volunteer elementary school teaching experience. My students, primarily Global History, World History and European History students, have raised their class grades, passed the Regents exam by many points and earned high scores on the AP. I have a varied style, which is geared to the learning style of my students. I teach world to text, text to text, text to life.
I was employed by the Lakeland Central School District as a substitute Teacher Aide and later in a full time capacity. I worked for the OASIS Program and later at the Alternative High School. After completing my Bachelor's Degree at Concordia College, I applied for and was accepted into the New York City Teaching Fellows Program.
