I was a straight A student throughout school. I am currently a high school senior, so the information is still fresh in my mind. I have spent a few semesters as a tutor and volunteer assistant in a local elementary school. I enjoy working with children and being able to help them succeed in school, because without school, the future is bleak! I prefer a hands-on approach when possible. I usually start off teaching the student basic utensil knowledge and slowly branch into oils from acrylic, first with no color so they will learn to see temperature. After we will learn the importance of white and how to not overuse such a strong hue. After this we will work from still-lives and also self-portraiture.
