Informal and relaxed environment where all questions are welcomed. I tend to keep my students engaged by making jokes and asking them questions.
I have over 20 years of professional experience in accounting, audit and tax. In addition, I passed 2 sections of the CPA exam on my first attempt (FAR & REG). 4.0 MBA graduate with 2 bachelor of science degrees - accounting and business management respectively. I enjoy teaching when there is a bit of a challenge getting the student to understand the concept. As I have mentioned, I can use different styles to help the student get the concept. I have a great deal of patience and believe that everyone can learn. I enjoy the way someone looks after they have understood and mastered an idea.
I tutored all subjects - especially in Math all through High School. I also tutored in college. I have strong skills in Math - all levels - but I especially enjoy algebra. I have two children and I basically taught my oldest son math, since he was a different kind of learner than the way they teach at school.
