My comments on tutoring ASVAB : I'm proficient in tutoring/preparing students for the math, reading, writing, and vocabulary portions of the ASVAB exam (see more under my "test preparation" heading)! My most recent ASVAB student took his exam in Columbus a couple weeks ago and scored a 66 (prior to seeking my assistance, he'd scored a 24 and 18).

Individualized/personalized... After each class/session my mind is always going through, "How can I better teach/reach that student?" In addition to my many years of experience teaching a myriad of subjects, I can provide you with additional, tailor-made, book lists, & free websites/APPs (and show you how to access them, if need be)... I am a big believer in real life examples and visual cues. I write every little detail so that one can always look back to their notes and have no problem revising. Courses such as biology and psychology are comprised of a ton of theory, therefore diagrams, frequent quizzes and examples play an integral part to learning. I describe the lengthy terms and processes by breaking them down, drawing and explaining the origin of the words. On the other hand, mathematics and statistics require consistent practice. I solve the tougher questions and show the correct way to display one's work. Speaking from experience, most students make mistakes because they do not write the solution correctly. Hence I put a lot of emphasis on the writing part.
