Education is a very powerful tool. I enjoy seeing students progress from square one to fully capable musicians. I have been teaching privately for the past two years giving private instruction in piano, french horn, and harp. I will be completing my bachelors in music performance from Ohio State this spring. I also give tutoring in music theory for interested students. I encourage all of my students to abandon what they think they should know for what they already know, and to take it from there. I am a very patient instructor for adult beginners. I expect progress from all of my students and I set firm guidelines and expections at every lesson. My goal is to help each child learn as much as possible but at the same time enjoy learning. Children need lots of love and attention. I rely on God's wisdom and strength every day because each day is a new experience or a new situation. I use games to help students learn.
