Nursing Exam is one of my top subjects! I tutor the math and some science portions of the TEAS 6. For math we strengthen basic skills, learn how to get the equation to be solved from a word problem, and prepare you for the particular types of questions on this test. For science we follow the ATI outline, but I focus on and can teach chem, physical science, scientific method,... - things you likely haven’t thought about in a while. I recommend A&P/bio already be strong, and hiring a specialist for those if not. Just as i do in math, a specialist will directly address your need. However, I can help with mnemonics and memorization, and assist with your study skills overall in any science section. My specialty is the math section. Results don't lie. Previous nursing tutor at Dutchess Community College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Have compiled multiple Power Points over the years which explain concepts in simple terms and which have illustrations of concepts which will not be found in nursing textbooks. Unfortunately, nursing textbooks tend to be a faceless landscape which is presented to the student with many complex concepts.
