My innate teaching abilities became evident and I was highly sought after. Returning to college to earn my teaching certification, I gained experience in special education teaching summer school. I student taught 3rd and 4th grade, then was hired to teach 5th grade which I did for 2 years. Returning to my love of special education, my taught for another 3 years.
