If you can ingite a desire to learn in students, I believe everything falls into place after that. I enjoy placing my student athletes into small groups to discuss for certain periods of time, and then I like to spend the rest of the time talking to them as a whole. After every session I coach, I have my student athletes write me a note after every lesson explaining to me what they have learned. A Little Bit About Me...

While at Nichols College, I took a part time job at the local Boys & Girls club in Dudley Massachusetts. Here, I worked with children from a variety of backgrounds on their homework and various other projects especially mathematics in which I specialize in. Many of these children were living in more challenging home environments, sometimes lacking a father and or living in a troubled neighborhood. My textbook strengths would anything math, finance, accounting, and business related. More importantly, my best asset regarding tutoring would be my ability to adapt my teaching to the child's needs and learning style. I use a lot of repetition, as I think that the more you repeat a concept, the more one will familiarize oneself with it. Also, I redirect questions back to the student that asked the question (or other students). This helps them think through the question and methodically arrive at an answer, without my intervention.
