I have been working with children both in the classroom and out to excel their knowledge of mathematics. I have been a tutor, a teacher aide, and have student taught at the high school and elementary level. I have both experience in one on one tutoring as well as group (5+). Group tutoring is always been something that I like due to the other children helping each other out. Student to student teaching is something that I believe highly in and have learned a lot about this with a program called AVID tutors. With the fundamentals to algebra and the beginning concepts in geometry being introduced, students can struggle if their math foundation is not strong. It is important to address any difficulties before discouragement sets in.
