With every student I’ve worked with I’ve found that the key to truly appreciating the creative joys of art (whether it be writing, drama, film or painting) is to make clear the inexorable link between the basics of reading and writing and creative freedom. It is my belief that every student can become an avid reader and an excellent writer given the proper motivation and environment. I try to foster such an environment through creating goal oriented lesson plans that result in tangible achievements that show clear progress in learning at the end of every session. Through this, I strive to make reading comprehension and writing exercises a fun and exciting part of a child’s creative development. I am a recent graduate of Fordham University, where I majored in Film Studies and minored in Visual Arts. During my time there I honed my skills in painting, graphic design, filmmaking and writing
