With every student I’ve worked with I’ve found that the key to truly appreciating the creative joys of art (whether it be writing, drama, film or painting) is to make clear the inexorable link between the basics of reading and writing and creative freedom. It is my belief that every student can become an avid reader and an excellent writer given the proper motivation and environment.
