SAT - Math is one of my top subjects! SAT Math is one of my specialties. Math always came to me, but this test was not the most difficult to study for. I Scored a 770 on the math section, and 790 on the SAT II Math I Subject Test. I know the test inside and out and am very good at helping people to learn the strategies to understand what the question is asking and answer it in a timely maner.

I have helped my classmates and have had one official student as of this summer. However, I have learned how to explain concepts so that students dont just memorize, they will gain a thought process and applicable knowledge that will enable them to solve even the most complex problems. Having this mentality of preparation and success will being them to reach their goals.
Teaching new concepts, practice applying the new material, review, and more practice of the material to solidify the concepts.

I have had the opportunity to work with all grade levels in a variety of disciplines; however I have had the most experience at the secondary level and am certified to teach 7th-12th grade mathematics. Over the past year, I have tried to extend my ability to share my love and appreciation of English and literature with others. As an English/Communications major, I am very knowledgable in a variety of subjects including grammar, writing composition and reading comprehension. Last year, as President of the Writers Forum, we spent several months tutoring as part of an after school program where we helped children in Baltimore write.

My educational career was full of challenges that have given me a broad basis of knowledge for tutoring. In high school, I earned the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma.
