I have worked really hard in my life to acheive the success I am enjoying now. I spend a lot of time (as much as needed) to make a student grasp concepts. Once concepts are well understood, it becomes easy to solve problems. For this reason, the rate of progress depends on the student's interest and dedication to study. I assume that if a student is willing to pay for tutoring, the incentive to learn will not be lacking. Once in a classroom I realized that I was meant to teach. I love working with students who are challenging and those who challenge me. I believe that I can become a better teacher only by continually challenging myself and my students. The key phrase “engaging students” seems less than what is required in the classroom. I want my students to be engaged but I want them to encompass and enjoy what they are doing as well. I love technology and new method topics; I have a very strong math and science background as well as excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
