Pre-service teacher at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I'll be graduating in December of 2015 with an elementary education degree. My minor is general science. For the past two years My classes have been preparing me to teach children from grades 1-8. In terms of online tutoring. I make use of a headset microphone and a touch tablet. As well as many free online applications, such as a whiteboard, Skype, and educational resources. During session I prefer to use the course work and text assigned to the student. Doing so allows for the structure of our sessions to easily mesh with those of the course. While obtaining my B.S. I tutored through a community development after school program for a year; in which I helped 4th-8th graders with their math and reading homework.
